La Saga
This is the story of the Manrique, a provincial family that moved to Bogotá after one of its patriarchs decided to try his luck in the city. He ended up founding a criminal organization by accident and decided to strengthen it. Then, he tried to reintegrate into society but tragically succumbed after having created an illegal world.
The decade of the 30s brought a radical, violent, and armed political conflict to the country. Tomás Manrique had to flee his home town with his wife Josefina and his son Pedrito. During the night, an armed group unexpectedly barged in a party killing every male they found to be in the opposite political party. When this war that he had decided not to be a part of had begun, he moved to the capital with his family where he accepted a job in a factory that manufactured screws.
One afternoon, a group of thieves entered the factory. Tomás ended up being the hero accidentally when he immobilized the criminals, winning the respect and trust from his boss Facundo, who allowed Tomás, dandy by nature, to enter and desire his wealthy lifestyle, full of luxury and commodity. But Tomás knows that collecting such a fortune means many years of hard work, and he was not willing to wait so long. He decided to rob his boss's house with the complicity of Pascual, a thief and new friend. In order to get the guns for this, they made a deal with a mobster who, in return, asked for part of the loot and took Pedro, Tomás's son, as a guarantee. Tomás accepted the deal, but things got complicated, and he ended up killing his boss and also later killing the mobster who lend them the guns, and therefore not sharing any of the loot. He rescued his son and got home with a feeling of having done the right thing.
This marked the beginning of a world of crime in the life of Tomás, and little by little, the Manrique rose to the point of a stable income and wellbeing through legal and illegal businesses. Tomás's dream of becoming a well established, honest businessman and gentleman never came true, and he slowly resigned himself to work in the underworld.
10 years later Pedro became 20. Pedro fell in love with the daughter of the man who killed the men of his village. Pedro played the man in poker with help from Pasqual he got all of the man's money. His daughter hated Pedro when she found out that her dad lost the money she made a deal. The deal was if she could beat him she would get the money back for her dad. If she lost she would have sex with him. He almost lost but, won he told her he was better than that.

Rosario Tijeras
This is Rosario’s story who was born and raised in the city slums and became a legend in her own time. Regardless of her upbringing Rosario’s beauty captivated the heart of two upper class men: Antonio and Emilio.
Our story starts with Antonio rushing to the Hospital an agonizing Rosario who had been shot four times by a hit man. Antonio who by this time is madly in love with Rosario, sits with despair in the hospital’s waiting room as our story brings us to the beginnings that give rise to the present.
Rosario stands out within her cruel habitat by her beauty and passion and sadly her surroundings at a very young age turn her into a hired killer. Constantly battered, harassed, assaulted by those around her, Rosario becomes an aggressor herself. In contrast Antonio, a young architect who also stand out for his looks, grows in a complete and opposite environment.
Naive and idealistic by nature, Antonio is smitten after Rosario in a high school dare; she passionately kisses him in front of the whole school. Rosario is severely punished for her prank, situation which she personally handles by menacing the school authority with her signature weapon, a pair of scissors. Not being able to erase Rosario from his lips and heart Antonio ask his best friend Emilio to avidly search for this mysterious woman throughout the whole town.
Antonio and Rosario’s paths will cross in various occasions and with each encounter he will fall deeper in love with this wild and daring girl. After being expelled from school, Rosario and her friend Dayra join a drug mob led by the Pope, a man who is obsessed with young maidens. The Pope ends up murdering Dayra in a brutal way. In an act of self defense, Rosario avenges her friend’s death and kills the fierce drug-dealer. This is the second time Rosario will show the murderess in her. The first time was when armed with a pair of scissors Rosario murders a young boy who had raped her. These two events give Rosario her signature name and from now on everyone will know her as Rosario Scissors. Antonio efforts are fruitless and he completely looses track of the woman he is obsessed by.
It is not until four years later that Rosario Scissors now a popular and desirable character once again once again appears into Antonio and Emilio’s life. One evening at a local night club surrounded by her gang friends Emilio from a distance falls for Rosario irresistible beauty. Rosario who’s at that place to carry out her latest hit job which she performs flawlessly and quietly within the men’s room. Rosario efficiently carries out the murder of a drug dealer accused of betraying his partners. By chance this encounter will start a passionate love affair between Rosario and Emilio. Overwhelmed by confusion Antonio will witness in silence finding out that this is the same woman he has been quietly obsessed with for the past years. Rosario and Emilio’s torrid and passionate love affair is suddenly ended when she is seriously wounded by Ferney, another local hit man. Ferney who was hired by her enemies to eliminate her accepts this job regardless of the fact that he is also Rosario’s official man. Antonio witnesses the murder attempt and sets out in a frantic race to save the life of the woman he has loved the most and whom he has never been able to have.
Her brother JohnEfe in a risky and courageous operation steals her from the hospital ICU unit to prevent her to face the consequences of her actions. At the same time innocent Antonio is arrested and accused of attempted murder and of Rosario’s disappearance. Ironically Antonio believes that Rosario is dead. It is not until by another twist of fate that Rosario reappears into Antonio’s life. Rosario has orchestrated a plan to get Antonio out of jail without realizing he is opposing to her plan. Being the weak character that he is, he ends up accepting and thus becoming a fugitive. Antonio escape not only will cost him totally sacrificing his life and social status at the same time this new status will allow him to fall into a world that will let him to truly express his feelings and love for Rosario.
The good wife
The series focuses on Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies), whose husband Peter Florrick (Chris Noth), a former Cook County state's attorney, has been jailed following a very public sex and corruption scandal. Alicia returns to her old job as a litigator (having taken 12 years out to be a stay-at-home mother) to provide for her two children.[9] The series was partly inspired by the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal,[10] as well as by other prominent American political sex scandals, particularly those of John Edwards and Bill Clinton:
Michelle [King]: We came up with the idea about a year and half ago. There had been this waterfall of these kinds of scandals, from Bill and Hillary [Clinton], to Dick Morris, to Eliot Spitzer, to name just a few. I think they’re all over our culture. And there was always this image of the husband up there apologizing and the wife standing next to him. I think the show began when we asked, "What are they thinking?" And Robert and I started talking about it from there. ... You know, what’s interesting about a lot of these political scandals is that the women are lawyers, too. Hillary [Clinton] is a lawyer. Elizabeth Edwards is a lawyer. I think that got us thinking along those lines. That is, we knew she had to go back to work, and we had so many female lawyers to draw on.[11]
Queer as folk
The first episode finds the four friends ending a night at Babylon, a popular gay club. Brian picks up and has sex with Justin, who falls in love with him and eventually becomes more than a one-night-stand. Brian also becomes a father that night, bearing a son with Lindsay through artificial insemination.
Michael's seemingly unrequited love for Brian fuels the story, which he occasionally narrates in voice-over. Justin's coming out and budding relationship with Brian has unexpected effects on Brian and Michael's lives much to Michael's dismay as Justin is only 17 years old. Justin confides in his straight high-school friend Daphne, while struggling to deal with homophobic classmates and his dismayed, divorcing parents, Craig and Jennifer.
Revenge
Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) comes to the Hamptons, renting a home next to the Grayson family to enjoy the summer. However, it is revealed that Emily has been to the Hamptons before as a little girl. In reality, Emily is Amanda Clarke, whose father was framed for a crime he did not commit and sent to prison for life. She was permanently separated from him and never saw him again. Now, she has returned to the Hamptons, intent on getting revenge on those who wronged her and her father. At the top of her list is Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe), matriarch of the Grayson family and the woman whom her father loved and who, in the end, betrayed him. Emily wants to get revenge on them all.
As she sets her plan in motion, Emily tries to navigate the upper society to destroy those who betrayed her father. But the further she goes, the more her emotions get involved and the more she questions her motives and the moves she makes.
